Each year the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issues the Hospice Final Rule which contains the adjustments to payments for hospice services and hospice cap, as well as quality and regulatory changes. Have you ever wondered what a market basket adjustment really is?  Who really knows why the Hospital Wage Index Value affects hospice payments?  These things are fundamental to understanding how payment changes affect your hospice organization. More than just adjusting to these changes, this session will help you gain an understanding of the foundational elements of hospice payment policy and the Hospice Quality Reporting Program.  Conducted in an interactive and practical way, participants will be able to leverage their knowledge to strategize for changes need to adapt to updates to the Hospice Final Rule year after year.
