Update: This event has a new date of March 22!

Join your home care & hospice colleagues from across the state at the Texas Capitol at our third TAHC&H Lobby Day of the 2017 Legislative Session!  Help spread the message that home care is the leading solution in health care. On this day, we will highlight the importance of community care programs, personal attendant services, and Medicaid funding & policies affecting us. This event has no cost to TAHC&H members. Community Care Day will highlight community care services to legislators; however, all providers are welcome! At meetings we can discuss all legislative priorities and home care services.

Meeting place & time: Our group is meeting from 8:00am-9:00am in John H Reagan Building, Room 100, on the north side of the Capitol complex (JHR building on this map) to get a legislative update, pass out folders & materials, and go over the schedule. If you arrive after 9:00am, please find us in the Capitol Grill Cafeteria in the capitol extension to get materials throughout the day.

Schedule of meetings: TAHC&H is scheduling limited meetings with offices of key legislators. If you register via this page (right), TAHC&H will assign you to meetings based on your service area. If you would like to visit additional legislators, please feel free to drop in their office on Wednesday and ask to speak with a staff member.

Parking/Capitol information: We suggest parking in the visitor parking garage on the attached map. See this official website for maps & capitol information.

Materials: All materials will be printed for you, including folders, member directories, and Capitol maps will be printed for you. To review the legislative documents before Community Care Day, click below.
