State candidates are back on the campaign trail

State legislators are back on the campaign trail this week after a six-month pause on campaigning!

State campaigns have been prohibited from accepting donations since December 10, 2016 in advance of the Texas Legislative Session. Lawmakers are not allowed to accept campaign gifts in exchange for official legislative promises, which is why there is a moratorium on giving during the regular lawmaking session.

Now that lawmakers are campaigning again, there are many fundraising events going on in Austin and across Texas. Since TAHC&H never wants to miss an opportunity to promote home care to lawmaker, we are attending our first state campaign event this week with our Political Action Committee (PAC)!

Would you like to support industry advocacy efforts? Consider giving to the Texas Homecare & Hospice PACa group of approximately 300 annual grassroots donors from agencies across Texas. Perks include eligibility to attend exclusive campaign events and being recognized at TAHC&H events!

Note: Contributions or gifts to the Texas Homecare & Hospice PAC are not tax deductible.
