Texas HHS releases DADS Regulatory Services Annual Report FY2016

On Friday, February 24, at 4:02 p.m., Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the release of the DADS Regulatory Services Annual Report for Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 (9/1/2015-8/30/2016).

This report provides an overview of the Department of Aging and Disabilities Services (DADS) Regulatory services findings for FY 2016. It contains information and trends for home and community support services agencies (HCSSAs) as well as all other long-term services and supports (LTSS) providers that are overseen by DADS Regulatory.

One can also find information such as; the top 10 deficiencies for certification and licensure violations cited for Home Health Agencies (HHAs) and Hospices during inspections, DADS Regulatory HHA and Hospice actions by region, HHA and Hospice administrative penalties, HHA and Hospice denials for license applications and renewals, HHA and Hospice expiration and surrenders of license in lieu of further enforcement action, HHA and Hospice agency revocations of license, etc…
