Held in conjunction with this week's Winter Legislative Conference, the 2017 Legislative Reception was a wonderful evening honoring the 85th Texas Legislature! It was a fun social event for conference attendees to unwind after a day in the halls of the Texas Capitol with good food, drinks, music, and spectacular views of downtown Austin.

At the event, we were able to deliver the 2016 TAHC&H People's Choice Award to State Representative Four Price (Dist. 87-Amarillo) for his work on human services funding during the 2016 interim. We were also able to visit with State Senator Bryan Hughes (Dist. 1-Longview) and legislative staff from the office of State Representative Stephanie Klick (Dist. 91-Ft Worth).
