The bill is now sitting in the House Calendars Committee waiting to be scheduled for a vote on the House floor. The bill calls for standardizing compliance requirements across managed care, considering administrative burdens placed on providers, considering emerging internet-based and GPS technologies, and establishing a workgroup for stakeholder input.
