Value-Based Purchasing

The expanded Home Health VBP Model began on January 1, 2022 for all Medicare providers in all 50 states. This year is the pre-implementation year where CMS will be providing agencies with resources and training on the model. CMS expects that this will allow providers time to prepare and learn about the expectations and requirements of the model without risk to payments.

Please review these resources and share them with applicable staff to ensure your agency is prepared for the first full performance year beginning on January 1, 2023.
