By Elyse Fulton posted May 19,2017 10:33 AM

Your grassroots advocacy is paying off! SB 894 which calls for reforms in the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) program is scheduled for a vote on the Texas House floor tomorrow.

The legislation, authored by Sen. Dawn Buckingham (R-Lakeway) and sponsored by Rep. Sergio Munoz (D-Palmview) in the House, requires standardizing EVV compliance requirements across managed care, examining administrative burdens placed on providers, considering emerging internet-based and GPS technologies, and establishing a workgroup for stakeholder input.

Please call your State Representative to support SB 894 today using the TAHC&H action alert center!

We only have today to drum up support for this bill among all State Representatives across Texas! Simply input your information, contact the phone numbers provided, and follow the talking points.

Even if you are not an agency complying with EVV, please stand with your fellow providers and ask your legislator to support SB 894. This could be our last chance to support legislation concerning EVV this year. Please make a call today!
