The Texas Association for Home Care & Hospice has been working with Congress on our industry's longstanding priority to find an acceptable solution to the requirements developed and administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for a physician to have Face-to-Face encounter with a home health patient. The current interpretation by CMS is placing burdens on providers, creating an unnecessary backlog of appeals and significantly limiting patient access.
It is critical that we drum up bipartisan support for this bill in order to begin fixing the troubles Medicare providers have faced complying with the Face-to-Face rule. We must support Congressman Marchant's efforts to pass this legislation as soon as possible! |
