Register Now for Feb. 3 Working with Infants and Young Children in DBMD Training Session

Deaf Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) providers can now register for the "Working with Infants and Young Children in DBMD" training session on Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon. The training can be attended via webinar or in person at the Brown-Heatly Building Public Hearing Room in Austin.

 Topics will include:

  • Deaf Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) Program Updates
  • STAR Kids
  • Intervener Services
  • Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired's Texas Deaf blind Outreach Project
  • Early Childhood Intervention
  • Orientation and Mobility (O&M)
  • HHSC Blind Children's Services
  • Additional Resources

Attendees planning to participate remotely should send their questions to the DBMD mailbox by Feb. 1 so that those questions and answers can be included during the webinar. In-person attendees can ask their questions during the training. Email questions and RSVP for in-person attendance to the DBMD Mailbox at DBMD@dads.state.tx.us.
