The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) will be performing a Financial System Transition starting the weekend of June 16, 2017. Due to these activities, providers will experience the following adjustments in processing and service during this time, including earlier payments.
- From June 16, 2017, 12 pm ET, through June 20, 2017, 12 pm ET, Palmetto GBA staff will be unable to access the Financial System. This will limit Palmetto GBA’s ability to respond to certain financial inquiries.
- No payments will be issued to providers dated June 20 and 21, 2017
- All claims due to be paid on June 20 and 21, 2017, will be paid early on June 19, 2017
- Payments will resume as normal with checks dated June 22, 2017
