Overview: Our TAHC&H Advocates are a dedicated team of TAHC&H Association Members engaging in strategic communication and mentorship with key elected officials. Through monthly check-ins, training sessions, and meaningful outreach, they focus on building strong relationships with state and federal offices, ensuring our advocacy efforts are recognized and warmly received.
Program Goals:
- Relationship Building: TAHC&H Advocates introduce themselves to elected officials and staff, creating a familiar presence before advocacy requests arise. This proactive approach aims to establish rapport and trust.
- Targeted Outreach: Each TAHC&H Advocate "owns" 1-3 elected officials, focusing on TX House Appropriations Members, TX Senate Finance, and key US Federal Members.
- Structured Mentorship: With regular training, structured follow-ups, and a clear outreach plan, our TAHC&H Advocates are equipped to effectively advocate for home care and hospice issues.
